Share your ideas about the future of the East End! The Town of Easton is creating an East End Small Area Plan to replace a previous plan from 1997. The initial objectives are: a) establishing Dover Road as an inviting and vibrant corridor that supports innovative and resilient small businesses b) identifying the Dover Road corridor as a neighborhood and community destination c) providing convenient and safe access for pedestrians and bicyclists to the corridor and adjacent neighborhoods d) building on the neighborhood’s existing, diverse population of citizens by identifying redevelopment opportunities of legacy industrial properties associated with the Rails to Trails. Annual Clean Up! Saturday, April 13th (Rain Date is April 20th) 8:30am to Noon The East-End Neighborhood Association annual Spring Cleanup is Saturday, April 13th (rain date Saturday, April 20th). The cleanup starts at 8:30 am at the community garden (South Street and Thorogood Lane) and wraps up by noon. Volunteers will prep the garden for spring planting and walk the neighborhood picking up trash and noting larger items that require action by the town. Coffee, donuts and trash bags will be provided. Bring gloves and work shoes. See you there! |
